2-1

background and goals

As principal researcher at THEFT Studio, I was commissioned to provide research staff augmentation for an unnamed enterprise client. The client was hoping to gain a holistic, deeper understanding of user needs and use cases for visual search, and identify actionable insights to inform product development. This would determine their product strategy for the upcoming several years and help them decide on the long-term strategic vision.

services

I provided research project support along the entirety of the project journey:

  • Digital diary development and review, ensuring it would touch on the ultimate research project goals.
  • Research execution team mentorship and support, in particular helping them interface with the client across different timezones.
  • Initial insights synthesis informing a cross-functional client-facing insights workshop. This would determine the direction of the next phase of research.
  • Designing the discussion guide for the in-depth-interview phase, allowing us to dig deeper into user mental models.
  • Insights analysis and synthesis, developing three major mental models across the different geolocations and cultural contexts of participants.
  • Report preparation, delivery, and iteration.

confidentiality

As this research is considered highly confidential, I am not able to share insights publicly. Please contact me directly and I will be happy to discuss the project at a high level.
